Six Faculty of Agriculture students recently participated in the first Graduate Student Conference of the Canadian Society of Horticultural Science (CSHS).
The conference was held online on August 27th and was attended by graduate students in agriculture and horticulture related fields across Canada to present and discuss their various research.
Matt MacNeil was awarded second place Oral Presentation as part of his graduate research entitled: Pyroligneous Acid Effects as a Stimulant for Plant Growth, Sex Ratios and Yield of Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.)
The award was a 2nd place oral presentation for the physiology and nutrition session of the conference.
