For Journalism students who want to integrate Environment, Sustainability & Society (ESS) into their degree, the 4-year Bachelor of Journalism (Honours; BJH) can be completed as a听Combined Honours听degree in Journalism and Sustainability. Graduates are poised to make meaningful contributions to public awareness and understanding of Sustainability issues, goals, and solutions.

Certificate options

Students can also integrate Sustainability into a BJH degree with one or more听Certificates:

• The Certificate in ESS; the Certificate in Communicating Sustainability; or the Certificate in Food, Agriculture and Sustainability can be obtained by completing specific courses, which may also satisfy other degree and program requirements.听Learn more about these certificates听

• The RBC Sustainability Leadership Certificate can be obtained by completing two action projects and three in-person modules typically scheduled at the College of Sustainability in October,听January听and March of each year.听Learn more about the RBC Sustainability Leadership Certificate
